JSK batters could not convert their starts into big scores and ultimately they had to settle with 169 for seven. Lues du Plooy was the top scorer with 38 while Devon Conway, Jonny Bairstow and Donovan Ferreira got 20s. Prenelan Subrayen, Keshav Maharaj and Chris Woakes picked a couple of wickets each for DSG.

Chasing 170, DSG were reduced to 51 for four in just the seventh over before Quinton de Kock and Heinrich Klaasen stitched a crucial 48-run partnership for the fifth wicket. However, Matheesha Pathirana trapped Klaasen down the leg side and with de Kock also getting out in 18th over, DSG's hopes vanished. The finished at 141 all out in 18 overs.
